Entering the astrodome through the tunnel

As part of a recent Science collaboration with Sherborne Girls' School, Year 5 were incredibly lucky to be invited to the school to enjoy the visiting Astrodome this afternoon.
The children were all mesmerized by the experience as they were taken on a 40 minute journey through space to learn about the planets, dwarf planets, stars, constellations, and zodiac signs. As you can imagine, when the dome was lit with beautiful stars there were many "oooo's" and "aaaaaah's" coming from the children - it really was a spectacular site!
We would like to thank Mr Blake and the team at Sherborne Girls' School for inviting us along to experience this - what a wonderful afternoon we had!
