WOW!!!
Reception class cannot thank Woodbridge farm enough for everything that they provided for our class this afternoon. Nothing was too much, they warmly welcomed us, informatively told us all about cows, how milk was produced and what other items they sell/how it is made, answered all the questions the children had and even provided a milkshake for each child (which was delicious may we add!). They certainly provided the WOW factor and the children particularly liked the smell (not!).
When learning in Reception at All Saints, we love to use our local environment and provide real life experiences to enhance and extend our curriculum... and our visit certainly did that!
If you are nearby at any time, it is well worth a visit (if you don't already buy items from there)... the milkshakes we had were divine (one child said 'it is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted') and they provide lots of other dairy products too! Go on... pop down there... you won't be disappointed!
