Today in art Ms Barnes turned the class into a Rainforest! We used plants and animals from the rainforest to help stimulate and understand starting points in a design process. We created our own mood boards.
Autumn Term 1
Rubies DT topic has been 'Pavilions'. We have worked hard to produce a range of free-standing frame structures of different shapes and sizes. We had to design a pavilion that was strong, stable and aesthetically pleasing. In order to do this we had to select appropriate materials and construction techniques to create a stable, free-standing frame structure. Finally, we had to select appropriate materials and techniques to add cladding to our pavilions. We decided on a theme of animals - can you spot some animal features within our pavilions?
