This term we enjoyed 'Craft' in art. One of the highlights was making tie-dye t-shirts. Here are some of our finished designs.
This term in art we are looking at Prehistoric Art. We have been learning to:
- Identify key 2D shapes in an image.
- Scale up a drawing by sketching the simple shapes first.
- Understand and use scale to enlarge drawings in a different medium.
- Successfully apply and blend charcoal to create form, tone and shape.
This week we have been exploring how natural products produce pigments to make different colours. We used a variety of different spices to make different coloured paint. Our classroom smelt delicious!
